Data center, cloud and high-performance computing environments not only require large amounts of storage capacity, they also must provide the data protection and performance today's applications and end users demand. Sep 04, 2015 This document provides a list of the most common commands needed when working with LSI MegaRaid Controllers for the Unified Computing System (UCS). MegaCLI is a utility used to obtain information from the LSI Raid Controller. MegaCLI can also be used as a troubleshooting tool. Recommendation: If you are inexperienced with updating MegaRAID device drivers manually, we highly recommend downloading the MegaRAID Driver Utility. This tool will download and update the correct MegaRAID driver versions automatically, protecting you against installing the wrong MegaRAID drivers. Introduction
- The LSI MegaRAID SAS-MFI BIOS Utility supports the SSPC server's redundant array of independent disks (RAID). By using the LSI MegaRAID SAS-MFI BIOS Utility, the server can create redundancy for the files on its 2805-MC5 hard-disk drives so that if one disk drive fails, the data can be read or regenerated from the other disk drive in the array.
- Datacenter, cloud and high-performance computing environments need storage capacity to handle massive volumes of data, and must provide data protection and performance to meet the needs of applications and end users.
- Jul 07, 2014 I am having a problem with the LSI MegaRAID Software Manager software, any version 12.x through 14.x. Under Windows 8.1, using a 'local standalone' installation of the Megaraid manager software, the login screen is not able to authenticate any local user.

This document provides a list of the most common commands needed when working with LSI MegaRaid Controllers for the Unified Computing System (UCS).
MegaCLI is a utility used to obtain information from the LSI Raid Controller. MegaCLI can also be used as a troubleshooting tool. Raid controller events at this point are not captured in the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) System Event Logs (SEL) or Onboard Failure Logging (OBFL) logs.
MegaCLI supports Windows, Linux, VMware, Solaris, DOS and Free BSD. You will need to unzip the file after download and choose the proper install package based on the operating system (OS). More information about install procedures, bug fixes, and supported raid controllers are in the 8.0.4.07_MegaCLI.txt file. This file is available once you have performed the initial unzip. Detailed install procedures can be found in the read me file associated with each OS type. Download the MegaCLI utility from LSI at this link:
Note that MegaCLI is now called StorCLI.

Gimp plugin registry windows. The plug-in I am looking for is the 'resynthesizer'. In the backuo directory you mentioned i only found a version, which obviously was built for Gimp for Windows as it contains.exe files. Then, after installing Gimp 2.99, I tried a set of files providded by another Gimp user: plugin-heal-selection.py plugin-heal-transparency.py resynthesizer. Yes, for years users could download content to extend GIMP in various ways (plugins, scripts, brushes, etc.) from registry.gimp.org. The problem is that the entire site was hosted on a very old installation of Drupal and there was nobody who was willing to step up and take ownership (including upgrading and maintaining the site long term).

Commands
This command provides the Product Name, Serial Number, Firmware version, Manufacturing date, Hardware Configuration, Settings, Capabilities, Limitations, Devices Present, Supported Operations, Error Counters, and Default Settings:
This command pulls all of the events and writes them to a file named event log:
This command displays the firmware log which includes environmental data, controller properties, memory information, events, and information about the Battery Backup Unit (BBU) such as physical properties, monitored information, capacity, and design information. The output also provides event messages specific to the BBU.
Displays information about all physical disk drives and other devices connected to the selected adapter(s); includes drive type, size, serial number, and firmware version. For Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) devices: includes SAS address. For SAS expanders: includes number of drives connected to expander.
Illuminates the locator led on the drive:
Turns off the locator LED on the drive:
Displays BBU firmware, charging, capacity and properties information:
Displays auto learn information:
Displays detailed charging status and gas gauge status:
This will silence the raid controller beep tones.
Preboot CLI
If the customer cannot install the MegaCLI utility or it is not available for some other reason, you can get to the Preboot CLI and run the same commands as shown above.
The only difference is that the commands begin in the Preboot CLI after the 'MegaCli64' above.

This page contains information about installing the latest MegaRAID driver downloads using the MegaRAID Driver Update Tool.
MegaRAID drivers are tiny programs that enable your MegaRAID hardware to communicate with your operating system software. Maintaining updated MegaRAID software prevents crashes and maximizes hardware and system performance. Using outdated or corrupt MegaRAID drivers can cause system errors, crashes, and cause your computer or hardware to fail. Furthermore, installing the wrong MegaRAID drivers can make these problems even worse.
Recommendation: If you are inexperienced with updating MegaRAID device drivers manually, we highly recommend downloading the MegaRAID Driver Utility. This tool will download and update the correct MegaRAID driver versions automatically, protecting you against installing the wrong MegaRAID drivers.
